Thestorez.com is the latest and new online bookstore in India. They are one of the cheapest online bookstores to sell books at far less price when compared to major online stores. They are currently running an exclusive promo where you can get 30 useful books from the publishers LIFCO for free. You will need to pay only Rs. 2 as the shipping charge per book.

These are small books brought out by The Little Flower Company which is a Chennai based publisher and is one of the oldest publishers in India with being in service for around 80 years.

These are the small books which come in paperback edition and around 30 pages each. Even the shipping charge you pay for each book of Rs. 2 is worth it to buy them, either the selected books or all the 30 books. The books range from self-help, business, manual, letters, public speaking, art of making friends, books on English language like punctuation, common errors in English, grammar books, tips to success, inspiring speeches, general books, general knowledge, proverbs and quotations, idioms and phrases, etc. These books can indeed be an handy guide or resource for all, according to their usage.

I checked the Lifco books online and found that each of these books are being priced at Rs. 4 each and hence can be considered a deal to buy them for Rs. 2 (even if it was mentioned as shipping charges for each book).

Apart from this The Storez is mostly selling the latest and other books at around 15-30% discount which you can see evidently at their website. If you open a fixed deposit with ICICI Bank you will get a pair of watches for free. You will need to open a 990-day fixed deposit to be eligible to win these free wrist watches from ICICI. The minimum amount to deposit is Rs. 75,000 to get it and the maximum can be up to Rs. 15 lakhs but you will get only one pair of watch. You will also be eligible to win these couple's watches only if you open your fixed deposit online and not at any of the ICICI Bank branches.

As said above the fixed deposit should be of the special 990-day deposit and the special interest rate for this 990 days deposit from ICICI is 7.25% per annum and 7.75% p.a. for the senior citizens. This offer is not valid on renewals of the fixed deposits.

HDFC Bank has introduced the special festive season offer where you can get a chance to win a free Reebok Watch if you use your HDFC Bank debit card for retail transactions or in other words use your debit cards for shopping. There are around 6500 watches to be won, that is each week 500 Reebok watches for free. This offer is valid till December 31, 2009 and valid only on the HDFC debit cards and not on credit cards.

All you have to do is to use your HDFC Debit Card each week for a minimum spend of Rs. 2000 or above and get eligible for the chance to win free Reebok Watch. Remember that only the first 500 early spenders will win the free watch. For this offer, the week starts on Friday and ends Thursday. Hence it is better that you use your debit card for retail purchase on Friday or Saturday to at least get a chance to win the free Reebok Watch for that particular week. And also another pre-condition is that the debit card should be swiped only at the HDFC Bank swipe machine to get eligibility to win the free gift.
